Hydrogen Uses Working Group

The group aims to provide recommendations for potential end uses of hydrogen-fueled energy to advance Connecticut’s decarbonization efforts. This encompasses cross-sectoral evaluation of viable hydrogen applications, demand forecasting, and analysis of potential uses in energy storage, industrial processes, long-haul transportation, and port operations. The group also examines geographic factors affecting hydrogen production and end-user proximity.
