A Smart-E Loan can be used for any of the following home improvements. Find a Contractor to start planning your project and ensure it meets the technical standards specified below. Your contractor can determine if any home improvements are eligible for incentives. Once you have project quotes, reach out to a lender to start the application process.

Other eligible improvements
Other improvements can be part of a Smart-E Loan when done in conjunction with a stand-alone measure and are limited to 25% financing. These improvements include structural remediation, unlisted repairs that are connected to other projects, ENERGY STAR appliances (including heat pump dryers), and tree removal related to solar installations.
