Per Order 23 of PURA’s Year 3 Final Decision, the Green Bank will pause approving all C&I Energy Storage Solutions upfront incentive applications on June 15, 2024. The pause will last until PURA determines whether commercial upfront incentives should decline for all new commercial projects. The following timelines are provided below to ensure Contractors and the Program Administrators will have ample time for review:

1. Projects with an Estimated Upfront Incentive LESS than $500,000: Complete applications must be submitted no later than May 31 to receive approval by June 15.
2. Projects with an Estimated Upfront Incentive GREATER than $500,000: As these applications must be approved by Connecticut Green Bank Board of Directors, complete applications must be submitted no later than May 8 to receive approval by June 15.

Applications must be approved by June 15, regardless of when it was submitted. Additionally, all projects must submit an Application to Interconnect in order to receive Upfront Incentive approval. No Upfront Incentive will be approved without confirmation that a complete Application to Interconnect has been submitted.
