Building owners can use C-PACE retrofit financing for EV charging infrastructure
As more drivers go electric, commercial EV charging stations are becoming a necessity. Contractors can grow their business by helping building owners finance and install EV charging infrastructure for employees, tenants, and customers.

Program highlights
Owners can pay for charging or offer it free as an amenity. C-PACE can finance EV charging infrastructure and can bundle it with other improvements while capitalizing on incentives. EV charging infrastructure is exempt from Savings to Investment Ratio requirements to accommodate increased on-site demand.
Federal tax credits and utility incentives
The CT EV Charging Program is available for qualifying commercial and industrial Eversource and UI electric service customers. Federal tax incentives may also be available for commercial EV charging infrastructure.
How it works
Building owners work with contractors to develop EV charging and other clean energy projects. The Green Bank or another qualified capital provider finances the project, and payments are made through an assessment placed on the property.
