C-PACE

All types of commercial properties can use C-PACE, Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy, for green upgrades to new and existing buildings.

C-PACE works for nearly any type of commercial property in municipalities that participate in C-PACE. Manufacturing facilities, offices, retail establishments, houses of worship, nonprofits, and other buildings can benefit from energy efficiency and clean energy updates.

The property must be located within a municipality that has passed a resolution and opted into C-PACE, and the applicant must provide evidence of legal ownership and agreement from all legal owners.
